Ms. Asmot Ara completed her Bachelor from BUET in 1999 in Civil Engineering.

Ms. Asmot Ara has professional career of 7 years in Water Resources Engineering. Since joining in IWM as a Hydraulic Engineer in August 2001, she has been actively involved in a number of GoB projects. She has worked as a 1-D modeller in Badherhat-Khairchar road project and Padma Bridge Modelling project. Her responsibilities include model development, data processing, result analysis and interpretation, report writing and preparing project presentation. Her 7 years of professional experience covers study area of hydrology, hydrodynamics and hydraulics etc.
