Mr. Arif is graduated in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan in 1999. He obtained his Masters degree in Media Communication Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea (South) in February 2006. Presently he is on leave from IWM to continue his PhD work in the field of Renewable Energy at the CQUniversity in Rockhampton, Australia. His present activities can be found here.

Mr. Arif has more than 8 years of professional experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, system and IT administration. He has wide range of experience in electrical systems, installation of bulk size Generator, Sub-station, on-line UPS, troubleshooting problems in electrical equipments etc. He is also experienced in computer Network design, Network Administration in both Unix/Linux and Windows Operating Systems environment. He has good experience in managing the ICT (Information and Communication) unit of IWM. He has depth knowledge on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system, an application of wireless communications system and ISO/IEC 18000-6, EPC Global standards.

Mr. Arif represents IWM in different exhibition, technology fair, workshop and seminars. He has attended a number of National and International Seminars, workshops and Conferences. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS). He has few international publications in his credit.
