Mr. Rahman did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from RUET in 1997 and later he completed M.Sc. Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from United International University( UIU), with specialization in software engineering.

Md. Mahbubur Rahman has a professional career of thirteen years in the field of Information and Communication Technology. He has a significant number of software development projects experience in both private sector and public sector including donor funded and GOB funded IT project as well as oversease outsourcing projects. He has supervised and lead various ICT works within his area of specilization.

Software project management, requirement engineering, technical solution architecting, technical proposal writing, preparing functional and technical specification, database design, architectural design, UI design, team forming and developing software following quality assurance, quality control and configuration management plan .  He played a CMMI Dev 1.2 implementation team lead role in a organization which one was pioneer in Bangladesh in CMMI implementation. He is also experienced in implementation of ISO 9001:2000.

He received a significant number of training such as PMBOK of PMI, CMMI Dev 1.2, Software size estimation, Metrics and Measurement etc.

Mr. Rahman received specialized training on Software Project management on PMBOK, Leadership Development, Problem Solving, Decision making and Conflict resolution, Dynamic Team Building, Object Oriented Analysis and Design using UML, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) version Dev 1.2, Metrics and Measurement, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Review & Testing, Quality Management System (QMS) and process architecture, ORACLE DBA, Linux/Unix System administration etc.

He is a member of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB)

He is also a member of Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS)
