IWM Hosts Wageningen University and Research Centre in Dhaka |

From December 2011, IWM is hosting a Project Office of Wageningen University and Research (WUR) Centre of the Netherlands. IWM and WUR already work together in the Delta Plan Preparatory Team and in the Impact2C project. |
| Ms. Catharien Terwisscha van Scheltinga, expert on climate change adaptation, water management and rural development is posted in Dhaka and is assigned as the Director of the Project Office. She works on various projects like the Delta Plan for Bangladesh and the Capacity Development to DUET on climate change and water management issues. The Wageningen UR Project Office at Dhaka, Bangladesh has been set-up to further enhance collaboration with IWM and other partners in Bangladesh and internationally on research, education and advisory projects in the areas of climate change and water management. |
