Masum Ur Rahman obtained Bachelor of Science in Water Resources Engineering from BUET in 2003, Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KULEUVEN) & Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB), Belgium in 2008.

Mr. Masum has more than eight (8) years of specialized knowledge of working in hydrology and river morphology, bridge hydraulics and integrated water resources management. His technical expertise covers hydrological analysis and design, river engineering, river morphology, and water quality aspects, hydraulic mathematical modelling with MIKE 11, MIKE 21FM, and MIKE 21C technology of DHI Water and Environment, Denmark, HEC-RAS of US Army Corps of Engineers.
He is a member of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
