Academic Chronology

Md. Shahadat obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology in 2009. Later he has completed a Post Graduate Diploma on Disaster Management from Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Study, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also completed his Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering from the same university in 2016.

Professional Track Record

Since joining at IWM in 2011, Mr. Shahadat is working in the field of urban water management especially hydraulic analysis, design and planning of urban drainage and urban water supply. His experience covers mainly hydraulic issues relating with urban drainage system , urban/semi-urban water supply systems such as DMA concept; water loss, energy and pressure management; water demand assessment; water balance calculation etc. He also has good knowledge on sophisticated equipment and software concerning with survey, modelling, GIS mapping, report writing and presentations in the relevant fields.
