Academic Chronology

Ismat did his graduation in Civil Engineering from BUET in 2003 and continuing her Masters program on Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering.

Professional Track Record

Ismat started her professional career in February 2003 as an Assistant Engineer (temporary basis) in PWD and worked there for 4 months. She joined in a Construction Company named National Development Engineers Ltd (NDE) in June 2003 for 3 months. She joined IWM in November 2003 and since then she has been involved in many projects. Her responsibilities include data processing, model development, result analysis and interpretation, report writing and project presentation. During her service in IWM she has extensively applied MIKE 11 HD and WQ model. He has worked as a 1-D modeler in Feasibility Study on Alternate location of the intake of Sayedabad WTP, Sayedabad WTP intake relocation, Balu River, Lakhya River and DND Khal Water Quality Monitoring Assessment, Industrial Environmental Compliance and Pollution Control in Greater Dhaka-Phase I by the World Bank. She was a core member of the R&D project Development of DSS for IWRM. Presently she is working in Indian River Linking Project.
