"Knowledge Beyond Boundaries"


Professor Dr. M. Monowar Hossain, Executive Director, IWM participated in the Brahmaputra River Symposium: "Knowledge Beyond Boundaries" Conference held at Shangri-La's Eros Hotel in New Delhi during September 25-26, 2017. The Symposium was jointly organized by TERI, New Delhi, Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G) and SaciWATERs, India.

The Symposium brought together the academic community working on Brahmaputra Basin, within and outside of the region, on a common platform, and facilitated continuous engagement of various stakeholders to strengthen research and bridge science policy gap. The Symposium took a multi-stakeholder and inter-disciplinary approach in bringing the knowledge together on Brahmaputra River Basin. Exposition of participating organizations were held in the side event where IWM and IIT-G shared a booth - which can be seen in the photo.
