He completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (CE) from the Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) in October 2023.

Professional Track Record


Abdullah-Al-Fahad has been building a strong professional background as a Junior Engineer in the Irrigation, Groundwater & Wetland Management Division at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) since January 2024. With expertise in hydrology, hydro climatology, and groundwater management, he has contributed to several national-scale projects and has played a vital role in each of them. His work focuses on hydrological and climate data analysis, field investigations, and the application of modelling tools to simulate water balance dynamics, groundwater–surface water interactions, and the impacts of climatic variability on water resources. Fahad’s professional goal is to advance research in climate-resilient hydrology and water resources management, promoting sustainable water use, improved flood and drought preparedness, and evidence-based environmental planning across Bangladesh
