Ms. Farhana Ferdous completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism & Hospitality Management from the University of Dhaka in 2016. She earlier earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from East West University, majoring in Finance with a minor in Human Resource Management in 2013.

Professional Experience

With nearly 7 years of diversified corporate experience across multinational and local organizations, Ms. Farhana has established herself as a competent and service-oriented Human Resources and Operations professional.

She is currently serving as a Resource Management Assistant at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM), where she plays a key role in ensuring compliance with HR policies, maintaining confidentiality of HR data, and fostering a professional HR environment. Her responsibilities include designing innovative HR initiatives, strengthening employee engagement, supporting employer branding, revising HR policies to align with digital and modern workplace practices, and analyzing workforce data to support strategic HR decision-making.

Previously, she worked with Banglalink as an HR Assistant (HR Reward Department), where she managed the end-to-end award procurement process, vendor sourcing, negotiation, and coordination with HR Business Partners.
