Academic Chronology

Goutam Chandra Mridha obtained Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from BIT, Chittagong in 1998, Master of Engineering in Water Resources from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KULeuven), Belgium and Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB), Belgium in 2005 with great distinction in dissertation entitled " Groundwater Surface Water Interaction Model for Water Resources Management A Case Study in The Northwestern Bangladesh". Mr. Mridha has been awarded the Development cooperation awards from the Development cooperation ministry of Belgium for the research on Masters dissertation.

Professional Track Record

Mr. Goutam has 9 years experience in the field of computational hydraulics, hydrodynamics, computational hydrogeology, irrigation and drainage management. He is a member of Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh(IEB)

Training/Membership/Workshop/Seminar/Publication etc.

Mr. Goutam has participated in lot of trainings as resource person as well as trainee in country and outside of Bangladesh. He has 4 publications both in domestic and international journals/seminars/conferences. He participated in a number of trainings, seminars and workshops. In some of them he was resource personnel. In addition to his fluency in Bengali and English, he is very good in French.
