PROFILE DESCRIPTIONS

i) Academic Chronology

I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, India during 2021–2025, securing a CGPA of 7.54 (First Class) under the ICCR Scholarship. Prior to this, I completed my Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 2020 from Government Science College, Tejgaon, Dhaka, achieving a GPA of 5.00. I obtained my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2018 from Sher-E-Bangla Nagar Government Boys’ High School, Dhaka, also with a GPA of 5.00.

ii) Professional Track Record

I am currently working as a Junior Engineer in the Water Supply, Sanitation and Urban Management (WSU) Division at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM), Dhaka, since July 2025. My professional responsibilities include involvement in the UNICEF-funded Sewerage Master Plan of Dhaka City, where I conducted field surveys, geolocation tagging, and developed and validated geospatial databases using KoBoToolbox and GIS tools.

I have also contributed to the Buriganga Bed Boring and Sampling Project, assisting in bathymetric surveys, dredging supervision, and sediment management aimed at restoring river navigability and improving urban water flow conditions. Additionally, I am engaged in the Trust Green City Utilities Supply Project, where I worked on sewerage system design, roadside drainage design, and water supply pipeline design for a newly planned urban development. As part of this project, I also developed 3D models and animated the Trust Green City project using SketchUp and Lumion, effectively visualizing utility networks, urban infrastructure, and city layouts for planning and presentation purposes. I have contributed to architectural–structural coordination works, including preparation of architectural layouts and design support for projects such as the AIFF National Centre of Excellence and a Multipurpose Indoor Sports Complex in Kolkata.

iii) Training / Membership / Workshop / Seminar / Publication

I have undergone professional and academic training through a Research Internship at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM), focusing on water quality assessment and sustainable waste management. I completed a six-week Project Internship at the Advanced Level Telecommunication Training Centre (BSNL), Ghaziabad, where I worked on structural analysis and RCC design using STAAD Pro. As part of my academic training, I completed my B.Tech project titled “Feasibility Study of Short Time Aerobic Composting Using Vegetable Peels” at IIEST Shibpur, which involved the design and performance evaluation of a rapid aerobic composting system for sustainable organic waste management. actively participated in professional technical activities and competitions, including the Institute for Steel Development and Growth (INSDAG) 2023 Innovative Steel Structural Design Workshop, where my team received the Best Design Award.

My research contributions include two peer-reviewed journal publications:

  1. Assessment of Water Quality in The Dry Season: A Case Study in The Little Feni River, Bangladesh, published in the IOSR Journal of Environmental Science, Toxicology and Food Technology (June 2025).
  2. Varuna: A Python-Based System for Water Quality Index Calculation, published in the International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (May 2025).
