Professional Track Record

Md. Shafikul Islam has more than 14+ years of professional experience in civil engineering, specializing in building construction, road and drain works, and infrastructure project supervision. He has been working with the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) as Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) for the 50 MLD Water Treatment Plant Construction Project under the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA). Previously, he served as Sub-Assistant Resident Engineer and Quality Control Engineer in several urban infrastructure projects under Gazipur City Corporation (Phase I & II), ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality assurance, and effective project coordination.

• Experienced in project documentation, progress reporting, and construction quality control

•  Assistant Resident Engineer for Construction Supervision of 50 MLD Water Treatment Plant in National Special Economic Zone (BEZA), Mirsarai, Chattogram – Institute of Water Modelling (IWM)

•  Sub-Assistant Resident Engineer / Quality Control Engineer – Construction of Internal Roads, Surface Drains and Footpaths (Phase I & II), Gazipur City Corporation

•   Sub-Assistant Resident Engineer-Supervision of Internal Bridge and Culvert Project under the Gazipur City Corporation.

• Supervision of Construction works Ashrayan Prokolpo -3, Govt Project under Bangladesh Navy at Bashan Char, Hatiya, Noakhali.

• Project Engineer – Construction of Multi-storied commercial & residential Building with under Building Builders Ltd and Maliha Construction Ltd.
