Academic Chronology
Md. Yousuf Ali completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1987, securing Second Class. He completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Rajshahi College under the Rajshahi Board in 1981, achieving First Division. Prior to that, he obtained his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Niamatpur High School, also under the Rajshahi Board, in 1979, with First Division.
Professional Track Record
From January to December 1989, he worked as an Assistant Engineer at Designers Collaborative Limited, a reputed consulting firm, where he gained early professional exposure to engineering and consultancy services.
From August 2001 to May 2003, he served as Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in Fulpur, Mymensingh, overseeing local administration, development coordination, and government service delivery at the upazila level.
From May 2003 to June 2006, he worked as Metropolitan Magistrate at the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Office, Rajshahi, performing judicial and administrative responsibilities.
From June 2006 to October 2006, he served as Additional District Magistrate at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Tangail, supporting district administration and regulatory functions.
From October 2006 to August 2008, he worked as Additional Deputy Commissioner at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Tangail, contributing to district-level governance and administrative management.

At the national level, he completed several core and advanced training programs at reputed institutions such as Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC), Savar, BCS (Administration) Academy, Department of Land Records and Survey, Treasury Office, Munsiganj, and Bangladesh Management Academy (BMA), Vatary, Chattogram. These training courses covered key areas including public administration, law and administration, survey and settlement, treasury management, anti-corruption measures, senior staff leadership development, and top-level management training.
In addition to local training, Md. Yousuf Ali has undertaken international professional training programs, including a six-week overseas training course (Stage-2) in the United Kingdom and a professional development program in the United States, enhancing his global exposure and professional perspective.
