Academic Background

Mr. Rafsanzani Labib completed his graduation in Civil & Environmental Engineering from IUT, Dhaka in 2022. His thesis was in Transportation Engineering. His conference paper titled “Assessment of Women’s Safety in Ridesharing Services of Dhaka City” published in International Conference of Hong Kong Society for Transportation Services (HKSTS) in 2022

Professional Record

Mr. Rafsanzani Labib started his professional career in 2023 as a Junior Engineer in the Survey & Data Division of the Institute of Water Modelling.

During his 3 years with IWM, he gained experience working with different types of survey data including hydrographic, bathymetric, photogrammetry, LiDAR point cloud etc. He is also experienced in using survey instruments and software relevant to carry out topographic surveys, hydrographic surveys and mapping works. He has experience working on diverse types of projects including dredging & channel navigation, RTW construction monitoring, feasibility survey, detailed feature mapping etc.

He is proficient in Geospatial Analysis using ArcGIS, Cross section preparation and Volumetric calculations using Hypack and AutoCAD, Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry using DJI Terra and Pix4d, and other associated tools.

He has received specialized training on “Hydrographic & Topographic Survey and Processing” and “Basics on Civil 3D” at IWM.
