Academic Chronology

Shadman Sakib obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in 2012. He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering) at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).

Professional Track Record

Mr. Shadman Sakib commenced his professional career at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) in October 2012 and is currently serving as Junior Specialist in the Water Supply, Sanitation, and Urban Water Management (WSU) Division. he has played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of more than 15 high-impact projects across Bangladesh, funded by prestigious agencies such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, UNICEF, and the Government of Bangladesh.

He excels in the master planning and execution of complex water supply schemes across Bangladesh, expertly navigating the project lifecycle from initial feasibility to final implementation. He leverages advanced technical proficiency in WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, and Water Hammer to perform sophisticated hydraulic analyses and develop optimized distribution network designs. His expertise extends to the integration of GIS mapping and the meticulous development of as-built documentation, ensuring high-fidelity data management. During the implementation phase, he provides consistent oversight through site supervision, design review, and the quality assurance of water materials and laboratory testing. Additionally, his role is pivotal in project administration, where he manages Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, cost estimation, and the delivery of comprehensive technical reports, consistently ensuring that large-scale infrastructure projects are technically sound and economically feasible.
