Mr. Sumon Babu completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from DUET, Dhaka in 2024. His major was in Environmental Engineering.
Professional Track Record
Mr. Sumon Babu started his professional career in 2024 as a Junior Engineer in the Survey & Data Division of the Institute of Water Modelling. His responsibilities included preparing survey layouts, maps, and water level hydrographs using gauge and sensor data. He was involved in processing a wide range of datasets, including single-beam and multibeam bathymetric surveys, topographic surveys.He operated various surveys and analytical instruments such as single-beam and multibeam echosounders, ADCP, TLS, total station, and spectrophotometer. Additionally, he ensured data quality through field supervision and routine accuracy checks and contributed to report preparation and project deliverables. He is proficient in geospatial analysis using ArcGIS.
