Md. Fahim Shahriar completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) in September 2018.
Professional Track Record
Md. Fahim Shahriar has been serving as a Junior Irrigation Engineer at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) since May 2024. His professional expertise covers field data collection, field investigations including installation and monitoring of observation wells, collection of groundwater level data, hydrological and groundwater data analysis, seepage and percolation testing, and irrigation efficiency assessment.
He contributes significantly to advancing efficient irrigation technologies, conducting feasibility studies for water conservation, and promoting sustainable water management practices. Through his work, he supports the development of data-driven, resource-efficient solutions that enhance agricultural productivity and strengthen water management in Bangladesh.
