Academic Chronology

Mr. Sajib completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from CUET, in 2023. His major was in Environmental Engineering.  Currently he is pursuing his M.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from BUET. 

Professional Track Record

Mr. Sajib started his professional career in 2024 as a Junior Engineer in the Survey & Data Division of the Institute of Water Modelling. His responsibilities included preparing survey layouts, maps, and water level hydrographs using gauge and sensor data. He was involved in processing a wide range of datasets, including single-beam and multibeam bathymetric surveys, topographic surveys, ADCP discharge measurements, TLS surveys, feature surveys, photogrammetry and LiDAR data, as well as sediment and water quality samples. He operated various surveys and analytical instruments such as single-beam and multibeam echosounders, ADCP, TLS, total station. Additionally, he ensured data quality through field supervision and routine accuracy checks and contributed to report preparation and project deliverables. He is proficient in geospatial analysis using ArcGIS.

Mr. Sajib has received specialized training in Training on Hydrographic & Topographic Survey and Processing, Training program on QGIS Basic for water management, Training on QGIS Intermediate at IWM office.
