Academic Chronology

Tilottama graduated in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar (NITS), India, in 2013, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (CE) at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST)

Professional Track Record

She began her professional career as a Junior Engineer at the Institute of Water Modelling (IWM) in December 2013. Since then, she has been engaged in a wide range of projects, including feasibility studies for water supply and distribution, which involved hydraulic modeling of urban water supply schemes using WaterGEMS and ArcGIS. She coordinated design tasks across various project phases, with a focus on technical excellence, timely delivery, and collaboration with global teams. She also developed clean water models to identify network constraints and propose feasible engineering solutions, conducted pressure zoning analysis (DMA/DMZ) to optimize supply performance and reduce NRW, prepared detailed project reports, technical specifications, cost estimates, and capital investment plans for municipal clients, and contributed to master planning exercises for large cities, including implementation strategies and stakeholder presentations.
